Today marks the half way point of my 365 Project of taking and posting a photograph each day to explore and further my artistic growth. I have the privilege of shooting weddings, events and portraits almost everyday, but in those opportunities, I’m telling someone elses story in a way that suits them. This project allows me to try different methods and techniques, perfecting them first before adding them to my repertoire to use with my clients. It also satisfies my need to continue to grow as a photographer, by seeing and capturing things in a new and different way.

A photographer also ‘exposes’ themselves when they display what they shoot for their own satisfaction. This part of the 365 Project is much less clear to me, since I don’t know what others see or how they process my vision. I wonder what others have learned, or at least summarized about me, from my work? What are some of the things that I’ve inadvertently revealed about myself?
