This is one of those vestiges of days gone by.  Call it a mast, an antenna, a rooftop aerial but in the days before cable this is how we got our four or five local channels.

As a kid I remember I could always spot die-hard Cleveland Browns fans by their rooftop antenna alone.  In 1973 the NFL instituted a “Blackout Policy” preventing NFL games from being broadcast within a 75 mile radius if the game was not sold out.  At over 110 miles Toledo, Ohio was the next major broadcast city for the Cleveland Browns, so you needed an extra high, extra strong and beefy antenna to pick up “the game”.
Moreover it is now largely used across the world and ranks high among the Erectile Dysfunction Cures. It is very much similar to discount cialis online look at more info or Sildenafil citrate enhance the blood circulation and flow into the male organ and facilitate the man to perform well, when it comes to intercourse. Over the years through both adjustments in the “Blackout Policy” rules the increase of premium seating fewer games are not seen in their respective local markets.  The last Browns game that was “Blacked Out” was in 1995.  Funny because I did see that one because I lived in Cincinnati at that time and the Bengals were not shown because they were Blacked Out too.

Recently the NFL has discussed getting rid of the “Blackout Policy” completely, sending it to that same sentimental place in our hearts as the rooftop aerial.
